“ The pizzas were some of the best of our travels between Western Spain, France, Germany and Denmark and we had them for takeaway along a 10 hour drive through Europe, taking almost the same time it would have taken to get lousy food at the rest stops. Highly recommend also getting the bottled lemonade, which was amazingly like homemade lemonade (real honey, real lemons) with an added bit of carbonation. That combo made our night. We are always hoping to find quality made Napolese pizzas wherever we go but we rarely get anything close to what we expect. The crust was with nice air pockets and soft inside. The base thin as expected and desired. The toppings were a nice quality selection. We were thrilled with our choice to take the few minute detour off the highway and get some good food and to be treated so delightfully by the Italian couple running the restaurant. We decided to try our luck calling for take-away along our route dreading our inevitable mix-up of languages when we pass through France as Spanish, English, German, and small bits of French sputter out of our mouths... mostly unintentionally. However, the lady on the phone tried French and Italian, and a few words of English and wouldn't you know it we managed to get an order placed and became amusingly known as "take-away" ;) with a strong Italian accent. Upon arrival the pizzas went in the oven as we prefer and the couple were super helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. A few minutes later pizzas were in the boxes (remember to ask them to cut if you are having them on the drive) and we were back on the road. That was exactly the experience we were looking for. I hope we can one day return and sit down for a full experience. To the owners, "Grazie mille" for your helpfulness and handling the obstacle of language with smiles on your faces. ”
